That is the best and most succinct summary I have read! The short video going around of Jill Biden telling Joe "you did great. You answered all the questions" while Joe smiles like a toddler, put the icing on that moldy cake.

Thank you for your assessment Thomas. It puts words to what I have experienced over the past 12 hours. I am currently on a mini vacation (road trip) with my son. Great fun and adventure… just what we need.

As the debate was taking place, we had an amazing conversation about the “alchemical process” we have been, and still are, going through. It was poignant, painful, and productive. He has the substance, tools, and mindset to embrace and develop the “new him” that has been forged in the crucible over the past 4 years.

After he fell asleep I was hit with a tsunami of insomnia and was racked with physical pain. Was all this part of the collapsing wave function? Had it come crashing down into the dark waters of the collective unconscious, awakening the great Cthulhu?

Then I heard about what had transpired during the “debate.” Truly stunning, but expected. Here there is the suspicion that Biden will be replaced on the ticket by Gavin Newsome the Governor of California. He’s a Jason Bateman-esque psychopath.

My thoughts went to Lovecraftian entities, Geiger’s hellscapes, and Stephen King novels like “The Dead Zone” and “The Stand.” But your words ring true, whatever comes next matters not… the gods have already spoken. With this understanding perhaps now I can sleep.

There have been a couple of auguries in your text this week. Perhaps also chiming with your article on the death of birds. There are no pollinators in my garden and a very noticeable lack of Bees. I have large beds of Lavender which usually swarm with the busy fellas. I like to watch them jive from flower to flower. I have also seen flies, dead in place on the edge of leaves all over the place. All very very odd.

We have the same here, so few bees we used to have loads of sparrows lucky to see one these days our apple tree was full of blossom in march the rains came and washed away the flowers now the tree is dyeing all the leaves are brown and falling. We do how ever have quite a good veg crop. Nothing is making sense.

I note that many of the Bees live in the soil banks around ditches and suspect they drowned during the heavy rains that you mention. My apples are doing okay, the wild fluctuations in temps are causing many salad crops to run to seed. Mr Sheridan would point to natural law me thinks!

Indeed.

It's like watching a play where the ending is well-telegraphed, even in Act 1. There is a sad inevitability about it all.

Your perspective helps me see these things in a whole different context. The wave collapse never would have occurred to me in the early years of this nightmare. I find a sense of peace about it, the gods have spoken.
