It only took them almost a thousand years with the Third Swedish Crusade Against the Pagan Karelians from 1293 to 1295 for them realise it was 'something better'.
That is some compilation. Whew! Talk about cancel culture! Then, when Islam came into being, they had a profound example of how to proceed to establish Islam throughout the Middle East. Above all, the the Christian priests and their Christian monarchs and kings did not practice the teachings of Jesus. Human nature remains the same. The mob always looks for an excuse to murder, rape, pillage, and burn. Let this be a lesson to us. Is the narrative we are getting today any different?
Thanks for this compilation Thomas... it's no wonder some of us are shy about admitting we are pagans publicly. I was in the Basque country 30+ years ago and went to the "witch caves" there... where there was a sign boasting of the 200+ people killed there. The caves at Zugarramurdi, the sign said, was one of the last strongholds of refugee Pagans. Wow, just looked online and it's been totally commercialized. Surprise surprise... And the reports I found now say 11 people were killed in that witch trial.
Thanks for that Thomas , they done a lot of torture and killing in the name of yahweh , another religion of love and peace. So many philosophers murdered too. Trying to erase an era. So what I wonder was Ireland like back in BC 500 or 1000 ??? , like are we on 2000 year cycles of some sort.

The victor writes the history and all becomes sweetness and light.
Excess deaths are ignored.
