Well the power is back. Nuisance situation. This could all be fixed in a moment, but no they want to hold sway and authority over us. Here, at least you didn't get the diarrhea 'flu back🙋♀️
In Wisconsin we had the power go out for the whole day one week ago It was one of the coldest days of this winter here - negative 17 degrees Fahrenheit = -27.22 Celsius. That is extremely dangerous because furnaces can't work without electricity. We have a well and that can't deliver water without electricity and the well heads can freeze without a heater in the well house (a dog house sized box).
We have several Bluetti battery packs so we could heat the well house, run some lights, and we heated food and coffee with a propane 2 burner stove, and a Mr. Heater propane unit that puts out 9000 BTUs to keep the house warm enough. This situation showed us how well prepared we were and what we were lacking. If this had been a multi day outage we would have to close off most most of the house and we would have had run out of propane and the power banks would last about 36 hours. We learn so much from these problems to better prep for contingencies based on where we live.
Sounds heavy Thomas, good to hear you've got your electricity back on mate. I can't see the TDS phenomenon ending soon if I'm to be honest with you, crazy will crazy and all that.
I am glad you are OK Thomas. And glad to see you writing again, even when it is about a bleak topic like this.
It will take a lot more than a 'storm' to keep us quiet!

If there's one good thing about the power going out it's giving me a good excuse to start reading again! Been reading hocus Focus in the candle light

As an Irish person of Jewish decent I thoroughly endorse this message.

Power line clearing - a new grift! I suppose the soft under belly of the comfortable masses wouldn't know one end of a chainsaw from a corkscrew!
