Look at the new mayoral 12er Zohran Mamdani for New York ( backed by Obama) He uses the same playbook as Obama to appeal to the people, but like Obama what he would deliver is no what he promises. Setting up Cults has been a major theme forever. The tools just get better. The Digital world and AI as its most recent tool being an important development. Converting to some warm and fuzzy Islamist cult now? of course why wouldn't they. Much easier than forcing conversion at the point of the sword.
