Thoroughly enjoyed the interview. I had loved the AI query you did on the June 30th substack. This interview clarified and expanded on your understanding from that article. I have zero interest in AI. I see it stealing the art of the world to make its images, It steals the writing of the world to write books, steals the information stored digitally to "inform"our thinking, our research. People use it to write their term papers, and essays. It makes people lazy, will convert them into NPCs with degrees. It will take their jobs because of the money it will save the corporations. But you made the very relevant point of the energy needed to run the AIs and the water resources needed for cooling. You are helping me see the world in a new way and better explain what I have been thinking for a long time.
