Establishment Need Only Apply: the Irish Book Awards Winners
A Farcical Look Into a World of State-Sponsored Cronyism and Nepotism
Possibly best summed up with the ‘Newcomer of the Year Award’ going to Alice Ryan, daughter of the late Irish Times literary editor Caroline Walsh. You simply couldn’t make these people up. They are literally parodies of themselves.
Mainstream TV presenters in abundance of course, and all manner of propagandists patting one another on the back. Including Sally Hayden foreign correspondent for The Guardian, Newsweek, The Washington Post, Al Jazeera, CNN International, NBC News, Channel 4 News, The New York Times, Thomson Reuters Foundation News, Magnum Photos, The Irish Times. The Financial Times, The Daily Telegraph and of course RTÉ. Who was given the Non-fiction Book of the Year Award for her fictional depiction of the struggle for African migrants and refugees to get to Europe. African migrants and refugees that is, who won’t ever be living in Sally Hayden’s, or any of the other award winners, neighborhoods and gated communities.
Lifeless dead eyes indicate they are soulless.
These are the cloud people that the ZMan talks about. Living in their dream world of their own making, they're oblivious to all things outside of their cloud. We are the dirt people and I know that not all of them, but a big bunch of cloud people are going to be in for the biggest surprise of their lives when TSHTF and the section 8/EBT folks come pouring out of their burning ghettos to loot, rape, murder and burn.
