Did 9-11 Damage Humanity More than we Realize?

You know the way that some people create multiple personalities in order to deal with trauma? 

Then, they sequester the original personality - which experienced the trauma - into a dissociative identity partition of the consciousness so as to 'escape' the trauma. From this, the new multiple personalities take stewardship of the damaged person and then carry on as if the trauma never happened?  Yet these dissociative identities are never fully resolved into a 'normal' cognition, and it is these outbursts of pathological behavioral fluctuations and passive psychosis which hints at the unresolved trauma which the original personality cannot deal with, being sequestered below the surface.

Often the underlying unresolved trauma is revealed by rage and irrational and illogical conduct/demands. The affected individual often does not know who or what they are at all. The new multiple personalities fracture and develop greater and more self destructive complexes and neuroses.

What if the unconscious of humanity created multiple collective personalities which emerged in the wake of 9/11; from SJWs, to Endtime Cults (Extinction Rebellion), to NPCs, Transhumanists and even on to the collective self-loathing nature of Western society itself? Perhaps even, the infantile pop music, and increasingly trite and sensationalist vapid popular cultural landscape of today all came into manifestation in order to not deal head-on with that trauma directly?

The mass of humanity had never been - prior to 9/11- so collectively affected and traumatized in their billions by such an event before that fateful morning of September 11, 2001. Most of us who lived through that day are still profoundly aware that something happened to us as a species and we have not been the same ever since. The very nature of reality took on an almost eternal 'damage-control' perspective from the moment the North Tower collapsed on live TV as it was broadcast into every home on earth - at the same time - to the same collective 'gasp' that was poured into the collection traumatic consciousness of humanity.

When 9-11 happened, the shock to the collective human psyche was like nothing any individual could have prepared for, let alone an entire planet. Earth may as well have been attacked by the psychic Death Star in terms of how it affected the vast bulk of humanity. 

Yet, in the wake of that day's events, there was no 'global counseling' as such, to help our species deal with what had happened, and which had literally exploded itself into the depths of the human psyche. In fact, things got a whole lot worse as the second Gulf War loomed soon afterwards.

Such psychic trauma does simply not go away. 

Especially for the children or young teens - aware and observant - during the live broadcast of the 9-11 event. Watching the look on their parent's faces and knowing that mother and father were as helpless as they were, in dealing with what was unfolding. If someone such as their own father could not save them, or ease their fears, then they would simply lose confidence in the archetype of the father figure. The family was rendered useless by a live TV broadcast. This was trauma.

The result of which could be a life journey of confusion and psychosis. Precisely, what we see all around us today. We are told genders do not matter as, millions of fathers all over the world - did not matter - on 9-11.

We never dealt properly with the psychological impact of 9-11, and now it is dealing with us?
