Await Further Instructions
How a Movie and a Meme Summed Up this Rotting Civilisation along with the Supernaturalism of the Covid Lockdowns.
One of the most remarkable and jaw-dropping movies I have watched in recent years was the 2018 British Lovecraftian-esque/Suburban Folk Horror movie by Gavin Williams and Johnny Kevorkian, entitled Await Further Instructions. The astonishingly prophetic film follows a family trapped inside their house on Christmas by a mysterious black membrane that begins to send them cryptic 'government' instructions which appear on their television screen.
The reason for this being; is that the government has locked everyone inside their homes due to a pandemic and vaccines will be delivered to them shortly. So they can have their Christmas back (sound familiar?) Considering this movie was made a few years before Covid and predicts the social and cultural elements of the scamdemic, is nothing short of astonishing. Yet, on an even deeper level, it presents us with an insight into a dissolving civilization made up mainly of educated and anxiety-ravaged idiots waiting for their next belief package to be delivered to them from approved ‘sources’.
I highly recommend the movie Await Further Instructions, as in the post-lockdown era, the symbolism and themes have only become more powerful. Even if there is the classic superficial nod to Identity Politics, the underlying tropes of the plotline are nonetheless powerful and riveting to watch play out. Right down to the vaccine worm clots (Mother Hydra’s Babies as I call them) making a prophetic conclusion to the story. The final scene alone shows the end result of what I call the “Transubstation of the Sacred Needlecraft” within suburbia.
Predictive programing in 2018 for what was coming in just two years? They knew.
Astral sex in the pagan magical community was the best middle finger to the lockdown we came up with. Ave Lucifer.
